Bright Eye 21 Hospital announced on June 2 that it will hold the "17th Children's Eye Drawing Contest" in collaboration with the Green Umbrella Gwangju Regional Headquarters.

Now in its 17th year, the "Children's Eye Drawing Contest" has been held annually since 2009 as part of an eye health campaign. The contest aims to raise awareness among children about the importance of eye health and to help them develop proper eye care habits.

The theme of this year's contest is "Happy and Healthy Life and Eyes." Participants are encouraged to freely express their thoughts related to eyes through their drawings.

The contest is open to all kindergarteners and elementary school students nationwide. Entries can be submitted in person at the Planning and Public Relations Office of Bright Eye 21 Hospital or sent by mail until June 30.

Submitted works will undergo a rigorous evaluation based on relevance to the theme, completeness, and creativity. A total of 34 winners will be selected: one Grand Prize winner, three Excellence Award winners, ten Encouragement Award winners, and twenty Honorable Mention recipients. Winners will receive certificates and a certain amount of prize money or gifts, and the winning works will be displayed in the lobby on the first floor of the hospital.

The contest results will be announced on the Bright Eye 21 Hospital website and social media channels on July 9, and the award ceremony will be held at Bright Eye 21 Hospital on July 19.

For more information about the contest, please visit the Bright Eye 21 Hospital website or contact the Planning and Public Relations Office of Bright Eye 21 Hospital.

Kim Juyeop, Chief Director, said, "I hope this contest will be a meaningful opportunity for children to realize the importance of their eyes and to fully showcase their talents. We look forward to the enthusiastic participation of kindergarteners and elementary school students from across the country."
