Professor Park Jikyung of Dong-Eui University’s Department of Medical Management Receives Commendation from Minister of Health and Welfare

Contribution to Academic Advancement and Training of Professionals
in the Field of Health and Medical Information Management

Professor Park Jikyung of the Department of Medical Management at Dong-Eui University received a Commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare at the 91st Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Health and Medical Information Managers Association, which was held at the Sejong University Convention Center on May 16, 2025.

Professor Park was selected as the recipient in recognition of her contributions to the academic advancement of the health and medical information management field through education and research activities over the past 20 years, as well as her dedication to nurturing outstanding health and medical professionals.

In particular, Professor Park has contributed to the development of the healthcare industry and the promotion of public health through a variety of research and practical support activities, including the utilization of health and medical information and the field application of international disease classification.

Professor Park stated, "I will continue to contribute to the academic advancement of the health and medical information management field and to the successful transformation of health and medical information managers in line with digital transformation," adding, "I will do my utmost to help promote public health by fostering outstanding health and medical information managers."
