On June 2, Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced that it has established a "Smart Disaster Safety Management System" to strengthen its disaster response capabilities and enhance the prevention of industrial accidents.
SH Corporation has equipped its disaster response command center, the "Disaster Safety Situation Room," with advanced devices such as DID monitors and a video conferencing system, enabling real-time information sharing and the establishment of a prompt initial response system.
In addition, to prevent serious accidents at construction sites, SH Corporation plans to build and operate a "Smart Safety Management Integrated Platform" that allows real-time monitoring of on-site closed-circuit (CC) TV footage.
Hwang Sangha, President of SH Corporation, stated, "As the agency responsible for disaster management, we will ensure thorough management at every stage, from prevention to response and recovery," adding, "We will maintain an even faster and more accurate safety management system by working closely with regional centers and construction site personnel."
