Open Recruitment for Managerial Positions
at Seven Ministries Including the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Health and Welfare
On June 2, the Ministry of Personnel Innovation announced that it will conduct an open recruitment for open positions, selecting talent through both internal and external public recruitment within the public sector.
This round of recruitment covers eight managerial-level positions across seven ministries: the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
Among these, five career-open positions are available exclusively to private sector experts: Head of the Cyber Security Division at the National Information Resources Service under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety; Director of the National May 18 Democratization Cemetery under the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs; Head of the Department of Otolaryngology at the National Sorokdo Hospital under the Ministry of Health and Welfare; Head of the Environmental Energy Research Division at the National Institute of Environmental Research under the Ministry of Environment; and Chief Information Officer at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
Three positions are open to both private sector applicants and public officials: Head of the Department of Neurology at the National Forensic Hospital under the Ministry of Justice; Head of the Facilities Division at the Daejeon Government Complex Management Office under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety; and Director of Gender Equality Policy at the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The application period for open positions runs until June 12. Further details can be found on the Nara Job Portal (gojobs.go.kr) and on the recruitment announcements posted on each ministry's website.
