Gwangsan District in Gwangju Offers Certification Fee Support for Unemployed Youth

Gwangsan District in Gwangju will provide financial support for unemployed young people to help them obtain certifications and enhance their employment capabilities.


According to Gwangsan District on June 2, the "Job-Seeking Youth Certification Fee Support Project" will cover test application fees and course registration fees for unemployed residents aged 19 to 39, up to once per person per year, with a maximum of 100,000 KRW.

This year, the district has significantly expanded the scope of support by newly including 540 types of national technical certifications. Eligible exams include 540 types of national technical certifications, 16 types of language proficiency tests, the Korean History Proficiency Test, and the driver's license test.


The total number of recipients is 300, with 100 slots allocated for national technical, language, and Korean history certifications, and 200 slots for the driver's license category. The program will close early if the budget is exhausted.
