Participation of Yale Senior Soprano-Alto A Cappella Group
Hanwha Life announced on June 2 that it held the community youth mentoring program "Dream Mentoring: Together We Dream" with the Yale University a cappella choir Whim'n Rhythm at the Hanwha Building in Janggyo-dong, Seoul, on May 31.
The mentoring event provides career and dream mentoring to young people striving to achieve their goals, organized by Hanwha Life.
This year marked the third edition of the event, and a total of 56 participants were selected based on their submitted stories.
As mentors, 14 university students from the Yale University a cappella choir participated, along with 14 university students from domestic university English volunteer clubs.
Whim'n Rhythm, the Yale University a cappella group that participated in the event, was established in 1981 as the first a cappella group at Yale that women could join. The group continues its activities with the goal of providing diverse support to underserved communities through music.
Hong Jeongpyo, Executive Vice President of Hanwha Life's Communications Office, said, "We are delighted to host an event supporting the dreams of young people together with the world-renowned university a cappella choir Whim'n Rhythm," and added, "We will continue to provide career mentoring opportunities for the leaders of the future."
