Coverage for Integrated Injury Diagnosis During Duty and More
On June 2, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced the launch of its "Exclusive Plan for Police Officers," an insurance product designed specifically for police officers, in commemoration of Patriots and Veterans Month in June.
This is a customized plan included in Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance's health insurance product "My Health Partner." The plan strengthens coverage for various injury risks that may occur while performing police duties.
The new riders include, for the first time in the industry, coverage for "Integrated Injury Diagnosis During Duty (mild, moderate, and severe)" as well as coverage for disability due to injury during duty (3?100%) and daily hospitalization benefits for injuries sustained while on duty.
These riders provide the same coverage as general accident riders, but are characterized by lower and more reasonable premiums.
A Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance representative stated, "In commemoration of Patriots and Veterans Month, we aimed to provide practical coverage that would be genuinely helpful to police officers who dedicate themselves to public safety."
