Daecheon Beach and Boryeong Mud Beauty Healing Center
On June 2, the city of Boryeong, Chungnam Province announced that it will operate the '2025 Boryeong Marine Healing Program' from June 14 to July 13 at Daecheon Beach and the Boryeong Mud Beauty Healing Center.
This program is designed to promote public health, mental recovery, and the formation of positive social relationships by providing relaxation and healing services utilizing the region's marine resources.
The program consists of several activities, including ▲'Beach Smart Beach Funking,' which allows participants to enjoy both health and fun while walking along the beach ▲'Mud Therapy,' which uses pure Boryeong mud ▲and 'Healing Forest Yoga,' held at the Daecheon Beach campsite.
'Beach Funking' is a healing program in which participants wear smart devices and walk along Daecheon Beach while gazing at the sea, enjoying the refreshing coastal scenery and experiencing the benefits of exercise at the same time.
'Mud Therapy' takes place at the Mud Beauty Healing Center, which opened in July last year. Participants can experience both skin purification and mental healing using Boryeong mud.
'Healing Forest Yoga' is offered at Zone 2 of the Daecheon Beach National Leisure Campsite for both citizens and tourists, focusing on restoring physical and mental balance through yoga in a tranquil forest setting.
A city official stated, "This healing program, which combines our exceptional marine resources with internationally recognized Boryeong mud, will inject new vitality into Boryeong's tourism industry. Building on the successful experience of the Boryeong Mud Festival, we will foster the marine healing program as a next-generation tourism brand."
