The Han River Bus is a water public transportation system that operates between Jamsil and Magok in Seoul, stopping at a total of seven piers (Jamsil, Ttukseom, Oksu, Apgujeong, Yeouido, Mangwon, and Magok). From this month until August, it will be introduced to citizens through a trial operation for public experience.

CU will open stores at all seven piers where the Han River Bus stops. Starting with the Yeouido and Jamsil Han River Bus pier locations, which opened on May 31, five additional stores will be opened sequentially throughout this month.

The stores opening at the Han River Bus piers are ramen specialty convenience stores called "Ramen Library." Ramen Library is an experiential specialty convenience store featuring a massive ramen display showcasing popular ramen from both Korea and abroad, a tasting counter shaped like a cup ramen, and instant ramen cooking machines.

At the Yeouido and Jamsil piers, there will be tasting counters shaped like cup ramen and themed installations and photo zones reflecting the concepts of Nongshim. At the Ttukseom and Apgujeong piers, Ottogi's concepts will be featured, while at the Mangwon pier, Samyang's concepts will be highlighted. This idea was inspired by the fact that customers at the Hongdae Sangsang and Myeongdong Station locations?ramen specialty stores with particularly high foreign tourist visitation?often take photos in front of the cup ramen-shaped tasting counters.

Hwang Bomin, MD of the Processed Foods Team at BGF Retail, said, "By being the only operator to enter the Han River Bus piers, CU's Ramen Library is now able to provide a differentiated experience to customers using the Han River Bus, a new means of public transportation and an attractive tourism content."
