Gangnam-gu to Host "Happy Job Fair" at COEX on June 5 with 80 Companies Participating

On-site Interviews, Special Lectures, and AI Experiences

Gangnam-gu, Seoul will host the "2025 Gangnam-gu Happy Job Fair" on June 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hall B2 on the first floor of COEX. This is the second time the fair is being held, following last year’s event. A total of 80 companies will participate, offering a variety of programs including on-site interviews, recruitment consultations, and special employment lectures.

The participating companies include Hanmi Pharmaceutical, KBS, National Pension Service, Zara, Starbucks, Uniqlo, Coupang, Pulmuone, Hyundai Home Shopping, and others, representing a mix of large corporations, mid-sized companies, and small but strong enterprises. Anyone, regardless of age or gender?including youth, middle-aged individuals, and women returning to the workforce?can visit the venue with a resume and self-introduction letter to receive interviews and consultations. Pre-registration is available on the official fair website, and on-site registration is also supported.


At the event, a range of programs will be offered, including company and recruitment consultation booths, employment talk shows, special employment lectures, career consulting, and policy promotion booths from related organizations. Lois Kim, known for appearances on "You Quiz" and "Sebasi," and Cho Yongmin, CEO of Unbound Lab Dev, will speak at the employment talk show, sharing strategies for career growth and personal innovation. Hong Kichan, a former Samsung instructor, will introduce analyses of large corporation open recruitment and hiring strategies for the second half of the year.


Additional activities will include employment tarot readings, an AI photo booth, personal color analysis, resume photo shoots, and a roulette event. The AI photo booth will offer a unique experience where participants can transform their photos into images representing their desired professions. Even after the fair concludes, an online recruitment center will continue to provide job seekers with ongoing employment opportunities.


Cho Sungmyung, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, stated, "I hope this job fair serves as a new starting point and a practical opportunity for job seekers, and as a valuable venue for companies to meet talented individuals."
