Chonnam National University Hospital announced on June 1 that it had launched a registration campaign for the "119 Safety Call Service," which aims to secure the golden time for patients with severe emergency diseases as part of the public health medical cooperation system project.

The campaign was held on May 27 on the first floor of Buildings 1, 2, 6, and 7 at Chonnam National University Hospital. It was attended by about 20 people, including Kim Kwangseok, Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Yoon Hyunjoo, Director of the Public Health Medical Project Office, staff from the Public Medical Cooperation Team, as well as officials from the Gwangju Fire Safety Headquarters and the five district fire stations of Gwangju. During the campaign, promotional materials containing emergency reporting instructions and nail clipper sets were distributed to patients, caregivers, and visitors.

The "119 Safety Call Service" is an emergency service that, when a 119 call is made, allows responders to check pre-registered information about the patient's diseases and additional details, enabling rapid dispatch, customized emergency treatment, and hospital transfer and care for emergency patients. In addition, text messages can be sent to the patient's caregivers to share information about the hospital transfer and related details.
