According to the Democratic Party's Central Election Campaign Committee, Lee began his day at Ungbu Park in Andong and is set to hold intensive campaign rallies across key areas in the Yeongnam region, including Dongdaegu Station Square in Daegu, Ilsan Beach in Ulsan, and Busan Station Square.
This move by Lee is seen as a 'last-minute gambit' aimed at undecided voters in the TK (Daegu and North Gyeongsang) and PK (Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang) regions, which are traditionally considered conservative strongholds. Since the official start of the campaign on the 12th of last month, Lee has continuously visited cities such as Gumi, Pohang, Daegu, Ulsan, Busan, Changwon, Geoje, and Tongyeong, making efforts to win over local sentiment.
In particular, Andong Yurim drew attention by displaying the phrase "Chosangjipung" (草上之風) and publicly declaring their support for presidential candidate Lee Jae Myung.

The term "Chosangjipung" (草上之風) comes from the Analects of Confucius, specifically the "Yan Yuan" chapter, and means that just as grass bends in the direction of the wind, if a leader touches the hearts of ordinary people with virtue, the nation will be harmoniously governed. (According to Kim Myungkyun, instructor at Cheonggye Seodang, a research institute affiliated with the Academy of Korean Studies in Naeap Village, Andong Yurim, this phrase is a call to serve the people with virtue and govern the country well.)
During his visit to his hometown of Andong, Lee emphasized a friendly image with the slogan "Jaemyeongi-nam-iga" (meaning "Jaemyung is one of us"), and adopted a strategy of highlighting himself as a 'competent individual' rather than focusing on party affiliation, in an effort to appeal to conservative voters.
At the campaign site, it was reported that support was sought by focusing on practical pledges such as resolving local issues, restoring public livelihoods, and strategies for future growth.
After completing his campaign tour of the TK and PK regions on this day, Lee plans to hold a 'final rally' in Seoul and the greater metropolitan area on the 2nd, actively encouraging voter turnout.
