On the 31st, Kim Gayun posted on her social media, "This is my personal space. If you keep doing this, I will pursue you to the end," along with an image. The released photo contained malicious comments disparaging supporters of candidate Lee, including phrases such as "XXX, you voted for number 1, hope you get into a car accident and your XXX breaks, XX face." Kim Gayun responded by saying, "These days, kids would see this and say, 'Yes, that's your self-introduction,'" turning the expression right back at the commenter.

These malicious comments appear to have been posted immediately after Kim Gayun attended and gave a speech at Lee's campaign event held at the Clock Tower Square of Chungju Gymnasium in Chungbuk on the 30th. At the event, she explained her reasons for supporting Lee, mentioning her firsthand experience witnessing the Gwangju Democratization Movement on May 18, 1980.

Kim Gayun said, "I believed that martial law would never happen again in my lifetime. But on December 3 last year, an unbelievable martial law was declared," adding, "The removal of former President Yoon Suk Yeol did not mean everything was over."

She continued, "The reason I support Lee Jae Myung is because I truly believe he will do an excellent job," and added, "I support him because I believe he will help create a world we can build together."
