On May 25, former President Park met with candidate Kim at her residence in Dalseong-gun, Daegu, and said, "Do not dwell on the past, but unite as one to win this election," adding, "I will consider more deeply how I can help ensure a successful campaign, even though there is not much time left."

Through these first public appearances during the presidential campaign period, she expressed her support for candidate Kim.
On May 29, the first day of early voting, she cast her ballot at a polling station near her residence and emphasized, "If you are unable to vote on the main election day, you should actively participate in early voting to help increase voter turnout," adding, "I sincerely hope everyone will make sure to vote."
