The agreement aims to improve the quality of life for national merit recipients and their families in the region and to foster a culture of respect. Its main points include establishing a safety support system by providing check-in services for single-person households, and creating a mutual cooperation network to address welfare blind spots and promote veterans' culture.
Hwang Sangho, Head of Korea Electric Power Corporation Daegu Headquarters, stated, "We express our respect and gratitude to the families of those who dedicated themselves to the nation. Together with the Veterans Office, we will fulfill our social responsibility and contribute to realizing welfare."
Kim Jongsul, Director of the Daegu Regional Veterans Office, said, "I deeply appreciate KEPCO Daegu Headquarters for joining us to support veterans' families. We will continue to expand our recognition and support for national merit recipients and their bereaved families."
