Jeil Construction has achieved a 100% contract rate for "Jeil Punggyeongchae Uiwang Gocheon," a residential complex launched in the Gocheon District of Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province.
"Jeil Punggyeongchae Uiwang Gocheon" reached a complete sell-out through contracts with preliminary winners following the main contract period, which ran until May 26, 2025. Located in Block B-2 of the Gocheon Public Housing District in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, the complex consists of eight buildings with two basement levels and up to 25 above-ground floors, offering a total of 900 units, all with a single exclusive area of 84 square meters. In the main subscription, 466 units?excluding those supplied in advance?were offered, and all units were fully subscribed in the first round, recording an average competition ratio of 21.6 to 1.
The key factors behind the successful sales are cited as: price competitiveness, an excellent location, and the advantage of being a post-sale apartment that allows for quick move-in.
"Jeil Punggyeongchae Uiwang Gocheon" offered a reasonable sales price due to the application of the presale price ceiling system. According to Korea Real Estate Board's Cheongyak Home, the sales price for the 84-square-meter A-type unit was set at approximately 741 million KRW (based on the highest price), which is about 100 to 200 million KRW lower than the prices of nearby apartments.
Additionally, the complex has been highlighted for its balanced access to transportation, education, and administrative facilities. The planned "Indeokwon-Dongtan Double-Track Railway Uiwang City Hall Station" (tentative name) is located about a five-minute walk away, making it a prime location near a subway station. Uiwang City Hall, the fire station, police station, and public health center are all situated adjacent to the complex. Furthermore, a variety of schools are nearby, including Gocheon 2 Elementary School (scheduled to open in 2026), Gyeonggi Foreign Language High School, Gocheon Middle School, Uiwang Middle School, and Useong High School.
The expected move-in date for "Jeil Punggyeongchae Uiwang Gocheon" is March 2026. Typically, it takes about two to three years for residents to move into newly built apartments. The ability to move in more quickly than in other locations has been evaluated as offering high residential stability for homebuyers.
