Providing Career Exploration Opportunities for Maritime Police Students

More than 40 students and faculty members from the Department of Maritime Police attended the session, where the Coast Guard directly introduced its organization, main duties, recruitment plans, and procedures, providing practical guidance to help students make informed career choices.

The students showed great interest in information directly related to their future careers, such as the roles of maritime police in the field, recruitment schedules, and preparation for physical fitness tests.

One student who attended the session said, "Hearing the information in person, rather than just reading it online or in brochures, made it much easier to understand. Above all, it was a meaningful experience that truly motivated me to pursue a career as a maritime police officer."

The Seohae Regional Coast Guard Headquarters plans to continue collaborating with various educational institutions to promote the roles and vision of the maritime police and to communicate directly with future talent.
