Popular Singers Including YB, STAYC, and Younha Take the Stage
A Festival Bringing Together Students and Local Residents
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) announced on the 30th that the 2025 Spring Festival (Daedongje), hosted by the 58th 'Donghwa' Student Council, concluded with the final event held at the Bumin Campus on the 29th.
This Spring Festival took place at the Seunghak Campus from May 26 to 28, and at the Bumin Campus on the 29th. It received a positive response for its diverse stages and programs that students and local residents enjoyed together.
Popular singers YB, STAYC, Younha, Lee Changsub, Giriboy, Punch, and Woody delivered passionate performances on stage. The festival atmosphere was further elevated by performances from the cheerleading squad and various student clubs (Freaks, Streets, Tipsy, Leadmer, Garion, Coma, Flat), as well as the Dong-A Song Festival.
In addition, student participation events such as the picnic zone and night market were held, enriching the spring ambiance both on and off campus.
Nam Jimin, president of the Student Council (senior, Department of Global Business), said, "I hope that students who were worn out from their studies and exams were able to relieve stress, fully enjoy themselves, and create wonderful memories through this festival."
Dong-A University plans to continue providing a variety of student-centered cultural events to foster a healthy university culture and strengthen communication with the local community.
