Providing Swaddles and Maternity Supplies
for Newborns in Single-Mother Households
Lotte Energy Materials employees prepared baby swaddles and other maternity supplies and delivered them to newborns in single-mother households, sharing warmth with the local community.

On May 30, Lotte Energy Materials announced that, in collaboration with the Seocho-gu Volunteer Center in Seoul, they had made baby swaddles to keep newborns' bodies and heads warm, and had donated funds to support maternity supplies.
The swaddles and supplies made during this initiative will be provided to newborns in single-mother households within Seocho-gu.
Kim Hyowon, assistant manager of the DT Team, who participated in the event for about two hours the previous day, shared her thoughts, saying, "I made these with the hope that, through our collective warmth, the children around us will grow up healthy and well."
Meanwhile, Lotte Energy Materials is carrying out systematic social contribution activities focused on three main themes: environmental and ecological protection, strengthening the social safety net, and mutual growth with the local community. The company has conducted tree planting activities to create and protect green ecosystems in Iksan, North Jeolla Province, where its business site is located, and in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Additionally, it has developed practical, customized support programs, such as providing portable fire extinguishers and conducting fire prevention education to help mobility-impaired individuals maintain a safe living environment.
