Addressing Issues Such as Dispatch Delays and Fare Adjustments
Renewed with a Focus on User Convenience
Mobility platform Chabot Mobility has revamped its chauffeur service, aiming to strengthen its competitiveness as an integrated mobility service provider.
On May 30, Chabot Mobility announced the complete renewal of its chauffeur service, "Chabot Daeri," introducing a more advanced 2.0 version.
Chabot Daeri was first launched in May 2023. The latest overhaul was designed with a focus on improving user experience and enhancing platform stability. The most significant change is the restructuring of the entire process?from request to matching to payment?into a single seamless flow.
In particular, a new recommended fare mechanism has been introduced. If a match is not made within a certain period at the fare set by the customer, the system automatically suggests an appropriate fare and adjusts it in stages. This minimizes dispatch delays and increases the driver matching rate.
The fare input and modification process, as well as the payment interface, have also been completely improved. Previously, adjusting fares required a complicated procedure, but after the renewal, users can now set fares and register payment methods naturally within the request flow through a simple and intuitive UI (user interface). In addition, a new feature allows users to pre-register home or work addresses, enhancing convenience for frequent routes such as commuting.
Chabot Mobility plans to accelerate the advancement of the Chabot Daeri service starting with this renewal. The company is considering introducing a card registration feature using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology, and is also discussing the reintroduction of traditional call-based chauffeur request methods for middle-aged and older users who are less familiar with apps. Other planned service expansions include a proxy request feature, on-site payment options, and the development of an AI-based fare calculation system.
Kim Yongmin, Head of Product at Chabot Mobility, stated, "This renewal goes beyond simple functional improvements, focusing on resolving user inconveniences and achieving a level of service quality that customers can truly experience," adding, "We will continue to advance our services to support every aspect of drivers' mobility experiences."
