Luxury Accessories and Contemporary Apparel Brands Join
Shinsegae Live Shopping announced on May 30 that it will launch a luxury department store, 'LUXURY', within its mobile application (app).
The company explained that LUXURY is not simply a space for selling luxury goods, but rather a high-sensitivity curation space that actively understands consumer preferences and sincerely responds to those tastes.
At the Shinsegae Live Shopping luxury department store, more than 250 luxury brands are offered, including major luxury labels such as Prada, Gucci, Burberry, Saint Laurent, and Bottega Veneta, as well as international contemporary apparel brands such as Stone Island, Ami, Maison Kitsune, Comme des Garcons, and A.P.C. The selection also includes accessories from brands like Golden Goose and Helen Kaminski, covering a wide range of categories.

The LUXURY department store has expanded the spectrum of global brands previously available, opened a dedicated section for international contemporary apparel, and added a diverse range of products including jewelry, watches, and shoes. Additionally, the company plans to provide an immersive shopping experience centered on the specialty store by offering a harmonious mix of department store-based products and parallel-imported goods. In particular, the store is curated so that customers can browse by item, such as handbags, shoes, tops, bottoms, dresses, watches, and accessories, to enhance shopping convenience.
To celebrate the opening of LUXURY, Shinsegae Live Shopping will offer a limited quantity of handbags, accessories, and summer apparel from famous international brands such as Prada, Balenciaga, and Chloe at special prices until June 1. Starting June 16, the company will also hold a grand opening event with a 'Luxury Week' for one week.
A Shinsegae Live Shopping representative stated, "With the opening of this luxury department store, we will create a luxury channel that can cater to even the most refined customer preferences," adding, "We will set a new standard for online luxury commerce by introducing exclusive VIP services for the luxury department store."
