The Special Investigation Team of the National Office of Investigation at the National Police Agency stated in a press release on the same day, "Today, we have completed the voluntary submission of the secure phone server." This includes all call records and related data from March 1, 2024 onward.

Previously, on May 26, the special investigation team revealed that, during the analysis of the secure phone server records, they detected indications that user information related to former President Yoon Suk-yeol, former First Deputy Director of the National Intelligence Service Hong Jangwon, and former Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Chief Kim Bongsik had been remotely deleted. The remote deletion took place on December 6, three days after the declaration of martial law.

A member of the special investigation team explained, "Compared to a regular mobile phone, this can be considered a factory reset," and added, "The data was deleted by accessing the server. We believe this was done by the Presidential Security Service."
