A pharmacy that can be used late at night has opened in Osan, Gyeonggi Province.

The Osan City Public Health Center announced on the 29th that it has designated 'Senne Pharmacy' in Geumam-dong as a 'public late-night pharmacy,' and will begin operations starting June 1. This is the first time a public late-night pharmacy will operate in Osan.
The public late-night pharmacy is a pharmacy that operates 365 days a year without holidays to address the inconvenience of purchasing medications during holidays and late-night hours, when access to medical services is limited. Accordingly, this pharmacy will be open every day from 8 PM to 11 PM for three hours, year-round. Citizens can receive professional medication guidance from pharmacists, purchase medications, and access telephone consultation services at the pharmacy.
Until now, there were no pharmacies open late at night or on holidays in Osan, so residents had to use emergency rooms even for mild symptoms. The city plans to closely communicate with the pharmacy and monitor operations to ensure that citizens do not experience any inconvenience when using the late-night pharmacy.
Lee Gwonjae, Mayor of Osan, said, "With the operation of the public late-night pharmacy, citizens will have improved access to medications at night," and added, "We will continue to expand policies that promote the health and convenience of our citizens."
