Navy: "One P-3 Maritime Patrol Aircraft Crashed... Investigating Cause of Accident"

A Navy P-3C maritime patrol aircraft crashed near its base for unknown reasons.

According to the Navy on May 29, at approximately 1:43 p.m. that day, a Navy P-3C maritime patrol aircraft that had taken off from the Pohang base for training crashed near the base due to causes that have not yet been identified.

It is reported that there were four crew members on board the aircraft. The Navy is currently investigating the circumstances of the accident and checking for casualties and damage.
