Daegu Veterans Office Launches 'Veterans Campus Attack' at Keimyung University Festival... 80th Liberation Anniversary Campaign Engaging Youth Daegu Regional Veterans Office held the 'Veterans Campus Attack' at Keimyung University Seongseo Campus to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day.

This campaign was organized to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day and to widely promote the history of the independence movement in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.

On May 27, the Veterans Office operated a promotional booth at Keimyung University Seongseo Campus, where staff engaged directly with university students. Through various activities such as quizzes related to the independence movement, distribution of self-produced historical leaflets, and SNS-linked events, they conveyed the historical significance of 80 years since Liberation in an accessible and friendly manner.

This event was the second 'Veterans Campus Attack,' following the first held at Yeungnam University in March. It was designed to help local university students naturally experience the value of the regional independence movement in their daily lives.

The Daegu Veterans Office is also continuously introducing veterans-related content and interactive events through its SNS channels online, expanding various forms of communication so that all citizens can easily access the value of veterans affairs.

Kim Jongsool, head of the office, stated, "It was meaningful to directly enter the space of young people at the festival and communicate with them," adding, "We will prepare even more diverse participatory programs to further spread veterans culture across generations."
