KORAIL Adds 8,000 Extra Seats with Increased KTX and Regular Train Services for Memorial Day Holiday, June 5-8

KORAIL will expand train operations to accommodate the golden holiday in early June.

On May 29, KORAIL announced that, in line with the Memorial Day holiday, it will add 6 KTX services and 10 regular train services between June 5 and June 8, providing a total of 8,000 additional seats.

On June 5, six additional KTX services will run on the Gyeongbu Line and Honam Line in the afternoon. For regular trains, 10 additional services will be operated on major lines such as the Gyeongbu Line, Jeolla Line, and Donghae Line from June 6 to June 8.

The train schedules can be checked via the 'KORAIL Talk' application, the official website, or at ticket counters in stations nationwide.

A KORAIL representative stated, "We are increasing seat supply to meet the demand during the holiday," and added, "We will do our best to provide safe and comfortable train services."
