"We Will Broaden Viewers' Content Choices"
The Disney+ original series "Casino" will air on MBC in July.
On May 28, MBC announced that it would be airing a special broadcast of all episodes from both Season 1 and Season 2 of "Casino." The crime action series, which premiered on Disney+ in 2022 and gained popularity, depicts the intense psychological battle between Cha Moosik, who dominated the Philippine casino scene, and Detective Oh Seunghoon, who relentlessly pursues him. The series is directed by Kang Yoonseong and stars Choi Minsik, Son Sukku, and Lee Donghwi, among others.
MBC will air Season 1 (eight episodes) every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. throughout July, and Season 2 (eight episodes) every Sunday night starting in August. This is the second time MBC has scheduled a Disney+ production. Last year, the hit series "Moving" was broadcast during the Christmas holiday period.
An MBC representative stated, "After our first collaboration with a global OTT platform, we found that many viewers missed out on experiencing major hit series," and added, "Through strategic curation of proven titles, we aim to expand viewers' content choices."
