Average Additional Benefit of 11,200 Won in Points and More
Naver Pay (Npay) announced on May 29 that it is holding the 'Npay 10 FESTA' Season 1 to celebrate its 10th anniversary until the end of this month, and will launch Season 2 starting next month.

Season 1 opened on May 1. Over the past month, the number of Npay application users increased by 102% compared to the same period last year. The 'Payment Mission', which rewards users with points upon reaching a target payment amount, attracted participation from 1 million people.
Information sharing and benefit verification were also actively carried out on Naver Cafe, blogs, and various social networking service (SNS) communities.
Through the 'Brand Draw' event, 10 users each day received points equivalent to 100% of their payment amount. About 460,000 users participated in this event. Those who completed the mission received an average additional benefit of 11,200 won per person in points.
The monthly amount of on-site payments increased by more than 70% this month compared to the same period last year. Npay received positive responses from online merchants such as Baemin, Agoda, Kream, and Kurly, as well as from 77 offline brands including Olive Young, Electroland, Lotte Duty Free, and Daiso.
Npay's overseas payments also increased. The first overseas QR payment benefits, conducted in China, Japan, and Thailand, led to a 25.6% increase in the number of new payers compared to the previous month. Due to the DFS duty-free shop discount promotion in the United States, the payment amount in the US rose by 350% compared to the previous month. The 'Npay Money Card', which offered a promotion of 10,000 points for every transaction over 20,000 won at overseas Starbucks locations, saw its payment amount at overseas Starbucks increase by approximately 160% compared to the previous month.
Season 1 will continue until May 31. Some of the 250 partner companies will extend their promotions through next month, during Season 2. Users can find event information by searching for 'Naver Pay' on Naver, or by selecting the 'Assets·Transfer' tab in the Npay app and searching for '10th Anniversary Event' using the magnifying glass icon at the top.
Season 2 will begin on June 11. In Season 2, Npay plans to introduce a large language model (LLM)-based personalized video experience using artificial intelligence (AI), a special promotion based on non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and a 10th anniversary brand film. Special NFTs and benefits will be provided according to the amount of accumulated points for each user.
Lee Wooram, Head of Npay, said, "Season 1 is being held as a large-scale gratitude event where Npay points are generously shared," and added, "Please look forward to the user videos and NFT-based events that will be introduced in Season 2."
