Available at Convenience Stores and Major Supermarkets Nationwide Starting June 1
Sapporo Beer announced on May 29 that it will officially launch "Sapporo Draft Beer 70" in Korea, a product that reduces both carbohydrates and purines by 70%.
Sapporo 70 was developed over approximately seven years through more than 300 test processes, using carefully selected premium malt and top-quality aroma hops to preserve the unique taste and aroma of lager while achieving healthier ingredients. In particular, Sapporo 70 lowers the content of carbohydrates and purines?both known to contribute to obesity and gout?by 70% each, while maintaining the same 5% alcohol content as the original Sapporo Beer. It will be available in 500ml cans and sold at convenience stores and large supermarkets nationwide.
Starting from June 1, when the product is officially released, Sapporo Beer will hold tasting events at Emart and Lotte Mart stores to expand consumer engagement. A Sapporo Beer representative stated, "Sapporo 70 is an ideal product for both taste and health, as it reduces carbohydrates and purines by 70% using Sapporo Beer’s advanced brewing technology, while maintaining a refreshing finish and aroma."
