Lotte Homeshopping was honored with the award in recognition of its customized welfare system tailored to employees' life cycles, its performance-based HR management system, and the tangible effectiveness of its policies. The company was highly praised for creating a safe working environment for pregnant employees and for its differentiated childcare support policies for families expecting a child. Notable examples include a reduced working hour system for pregnant employees, six days of infertility leave and up to 1 million KRW in treatment support, a mandatory minimum of one month of paternity leave for male employees, support groups such as "Seolleim" for expectant mothers and "Banjjakim" for working mothers, and half-day leave for spouses to attend prenatal checkups.

The paternity leave system, introduced in 2017, has maintained a 100% usage rate to date. The company is also proactive in nurturing female talent. In 2024, women accounted for nearly half of all middle managers, demonstrating a gender-neutral HR evaluation system. Lotte Homeshopping is currently improving its evaluation system to enhance the fairness of promotions and performance reviews. The "Win-Win Jobs" program, which supports partner companies in hiring female talent, including women returning to the workforce after a career break, has also received positive feedback.

In addition, the company operates practical welfare programs that help employees balance work and family life, such as the "PC-Off" system, which automatically shuts down computers after working hours; "Home Day," which allows employees to leave work one hour early twice a week; and a "Long-Term Refresh Leave" for recharging, separate from annual leave.

Kim Jaegeom, CEO of Lotte Homeshopping, said, "I am delighted that we have received the Presidential Citation as a result of our efforts to create a foundation where female talent can grow according to their abilities and to provide support tailored to the life cycle, including pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare. Going forward, we will continue to establish a family-friendly work environment where work and family are in harmony, and create an organizational culture that ensures equality and diversity in employment."
