Discounts on Popular Fruits Such as Apples, Pears, Chamoe, and Watermelons
Emart announced on May 29 that it will be offering discounts on fresh foods such as fruit from May 30 to June 4, and on cooling bedding until June 12.
For fruit, Emart is holding a price stabilization event in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, focusing on high-demand items such as apples, pears, chamoe, watermelon, and blueberries. Customers can receive a 20% discount when accumulating Shinsegae Points.
The 'Dangchan Apple (4-7 pieces)' will be sold for 9,960 won, the 'Dangchan Pear (4 pieces/bag)' for 15,120 won, the 'Banjeon Chamoe (up to 15 pieces/bag)' for 8,800 won, the 'House Watermelon (extra large, large, medium)' for 19,120 won, 17,520 won, and 15,120 won respectively, and the 'Korean Blueberry (200g/pack)' for 6,992 won.
The first seasonal event for Chodang Corn, a popular early summer snack, is also starting. Chodang Corn grown in Miryang, Gwangyang, and Uiryeong will be available at 1,780 won per piece, about 10% cheaper than last year. For cooling bedding, Emart is introducing over 100 new products this year, offering discounts ranging from 20% to 40%. As a representative item, the 'Wave Extreme Cool Bedding' (8 types) will be available at a 30% discount when purchased with an event card.
The June Price-Breaking Declaration event is also launching. From May 30 to June 26, for about a month, five major grocery items and fifty daily necessities will be sold at discounted prices. The five major grocery items are 'Broccoli (1 piece, 1,280 won)', 'Kkamang Apple Watermelon (under 1.5kg/under 3kg, 4,980/5,980 won)', 'U.S. Frozen Beef Brisket for Grilling 800g (9,980 won)', 'Manjeon Gim (5g, 20 packs, 5,980 won)', and 'Maeil Daily Milk (900ml, 2 packs, 3,880 won)'.
