Busan Gijang-gun Holds SNS Quiz Event to Celebrate Designation of 'Jwagwangcheon Provincial Garden'

Naver Pay Gift Certificates to Be Awarded by Lottery

Gijang-gun, Busan (Governor Jung Jongbok) will hold an SNS quiz event for five days from June 9 to 13, 2025, to commemorate the designation of the 'Jwagwangcheon Provincial Garden'.

This event was organized to widely promote the designation of 'Jwagwangcheon Provincial Garden', which is the first provincial garden registered by a basic local government in Busan, and to share the joy with local residents.

The quiz event will be held simultaneously on five official Gijang-gun SNS platforms: Naver Blog, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and KakaoTalk Channel. A total of 20 participants will be selected by lottery to receive a 5,000-won Naver Pay gift certificate.

Participation is simple. Follow one of the Gijang-gun SNS channels, click 'Like', and then submit the quiz answer through Google Forms.

A Gijang-gun official stated, "The designation of Jwagwangcheon Provincial Garden is a symbolic achievement marking the 30th anniversary of Gijang-gun's reinstatement as a county and represents a leap toward becoming a prestigious garden city. We hope to celebrate this with residents through the event and to increase interest in Gijang-gun's SNS channels."

'Jwagwangcheon Provincial Garden' is an urban-style garden that runs through the center of Jeonggwan New Town, offering excellent urban accessibility and providing citizens with a space to enjoy culture, leisure, and social interaction in their daily lives.

Under the theme "An Emotional Garden to Experience Jwagwangcheon in Everyday Life," the garden is composed of four sub-themes: warmth, benefit, welcome, and longing. It covers a total area of 12.2 hectares (122,086.6 square meters) and features 510,000 plants of 101 different species.
