Early Voting from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 29-30
Available Nationwide Regardless of Registered Address
The city of Iksan in North Jeolla Province announced on May 28 that it had conducted a preliminary inspection of 29 early voting stations in the region ahead of the 21st presidential election early voting period.
The inspection covered not only the installation of voting stations, but also guidance on movement routes and the provision of facilities to accommodate people with disabilities and those with limited mobility.
In particular, the city is making thorough efforts to maintain order so that citizens can vote in a safe and comfortable environment. Voting management staff who have received prior training will be deployed to minimize confusion on the day of voting.
Early voting will be available for two days, from May 29 to May 30, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Voters can cast their ballots at any voting station nationwide, regardless of their registered address. Any citizen aged 18 or older as of election day can participate in voting by presenting an ID card, passport, driver's license, or government employee ID. The locations of early voting stations can be found on the website of the National Election Commission.
A city official stated, "Voting is both a right and a duty of citizens, and it is an important decision that determines the future of the region," adding, "We hope that all citizens will exercise their valuable vote."
