Following the launch of metropolitan bus route 8300 departing from Yangju City on January 13, metropolitan bus route 3003, which will run from Pocheon City to Byeollae Station, is scheduled to begin operation on June 1.
In addition, Uijeongbu City is also promoting the introduction of the demand-responsive Ddok Bus service connecting to Byeollae Station. Once this service is fully operational, the hub function of Byeollae Station within the regional transportation network is expected to be further strengthened.
Furthermore, the demand for transfers from the Gyeongchun Line to Line 8 toward Jamsil at Byeollae Station continues to increase. In the future, Byeollae Station is drawing attention as a key transportation hub that integrates metropolitan railways and buses, especially as a planned stop for the GTX-B line.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok of Namyangju City stated, "The expansion of the metropolitan transportation network centered on Byeollae Station is the result of the city's ongoing efforts to improve accessibility toward Jamsil in Seoul," and added, "As the expansion of the transportation network brings real changes to citizens' daily lives, we will continue to build a dense transportation infrastructure that citizens can truly experience."
