On May 27, Jipyong LLC signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Thai law firm Kudun & Partners and co-hosted the "Thailand Investment Seminar."
Kudun & Partners is a comprehensive law firm in Thailand established in 2015. It provides a wide range of legal advisory services in various fields such as corporate legal affairs, finance, and dispute resolution for companies across Asia. Jipyong stated that through this MOU, it will be able to offer more accurate and prompt legal services to Korean companies that are either operating in Thailand or seeking to enter and invest in the local market. Thailand has a domestic market of around 72 million people, ranking among the world's top 20 in size.
The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Haenggyu, Representative Attorney of Jipyong; Kim Jinhee, Senior Foreign Attorney and Head of the International Group; Jung Jungtae, Partner Attorney and Head of the Overseas Branch Team; Ko Sehun, Partner Attorney; Lee Seungmin, Senior Foreign Attorney and Head of the International Transactions Team; and Ban Kiil, Senior Foreign Attorney and Head of the Thailand Team. From Kudun & Partners, attendees included Kudun Sukhumananda, Representative Attorney; Mayuree Sapsutthiporn, Partner Attorney; Chai Lertvittayachaikul, Partner Attorney; Thitawan Thanasombatpaisarn, Partner Attorney; Yanin Sirilak, Attorney; and Ben Cheok, Chief Operating Officer.
Jipyong currently operates nine overseas offices in eight countries, the largest number among Korean law firms. It has signed MOUs with local law firms in various countries, including Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Based on its regional expertise and country-specific networks spanning Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and Africa, Jipyong provides efficient and clear legal services tailored to clients' needs.
