Cho Seungrae, chief spokesperson for the Democratic Party's Central Election Committee, told reporters that day, "Lee will announce future plans for Gwangjin-gu, including the phased undergrounding of the above-ground sections of Subway Line 2 and high-density mixed-use development around station areas and Cheonho-daero. He will also unveil development plans for Jungnang-gu, such as the early start of the Myeonmok Line, integrated development of the Sinnae train depot, and improvements to residential environments."

The Democratic Party's central election committee is also making a final push to rally voter support. Park Chandae, the Standing General Election Countermeasures Committee Chairman, will campaign for Lee in Anseong, Suji-gu in Yongin, and Suwon in Gyeonggi Province in the afternoon. Jeong Eunkyung, General Election Countermeasures Committee Chair, will campaign in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. Before the committee meeting that day, the election committee also ran a campaign encouraging early voting on May 29 and 30.

Before the rallies, Lee will appear live on a YouTube channel with party member Lee Soyoung and Yoon Taejun, head of the Minority Shareholder Platform Act Research Institute, under the theme "On the Same Boat as 14 Million Retail Investors." They will discuss stock market structural reforms and ways to advance the capital market.

Through social media, Lee also announced a pledge to reduce the burden of medical expenses for patients with rare and severe intractable diseases, committing to gradually lower the current 10% out-of-pocket rate for these patients. He promised to expand health insurance coverage for treatments and support the supply of essential medicines.

Additionally, Lee announced nine "tailored" pledges aimed at specific preferences. These include: establishing a nationwide smart monitoring system for sinkholes; strengthening penalties for selfish, illegal, and retaliatory parking at apartment complex entrances; ensuring effective punishment for illegal U-turns; reinforcing crackdowns and penalties for long-term camping car parking; introducing legislation to prevent gym and Pilates membership fraud; making guarantee insurance mandatory for sports facilities and establishing a support center for victims; enhancing fairness in concert and sports ticketing systems; replacing first-come, first-served ticket sales with a lottery system to prevent scalping; resuming national support for eco-friendly agricultural product packages for pregnant women; eradicating unfair practices in the wedding industry and increasing transparency in "blind" studio-dress-makeup estimates; and establishing post-management functions for new game regulatory organizations and introducing a private sector self-regulation review system.
