On May 28, the Gyeongnam Inspection Office of NongHyup held a breakfast event with executives and employees of Sae Tongyeong NongHyup at a restaurant in Tongyeong.

As part of a nationwide campaign to promote rice consumption, the Gyeongnam Inspection Office organized a breakfast event during the comprehensive audit, bringing together 10 participants including the audit team and executives and employees of the audited NongHyup. Through this event, they expressed their commitment to supporting farming households struggling due to declining rice consumption.

Kim Dohyeong, head of the Gyeongnam Inspection Office, expressed his understanding of the difficulties faced by farming households due to reduced rice consumption. He stated, "During the comprehensive audit, we will do our utmost to expand rice consumption by holding breakfast events and creating new communication opportunities using processed rice foods."
