Lotte World Adventure announced on May 28 that it will hold the summer season festival, "Pokemon World Adventure: Summer Festa," from July 7 to August 31.
This is the second seasonal festival presented in collaboration with Pokemon, following the one held last spring. The festival is themed around a tropical island trip with Hula Dance Pikachu to celebrate the summer vacation. During the festival, visitors can also enjoy new Pokemon content and passionate samba-themed attractions.

First, the "Balloon Flight Signature Photo Zone" next to the carousel on the first floor of Adventure will be decorated with Water-type Pokemon such as Wooper and Quaxly, evoking the refreshing atmosphere of the summer sea. On the second floor of Adventure, at Barcelona Square, a colorful tropical-themed photo wall will be set up with Hula Dance Pikachu dressed in special attire.
New performances and events featuring Pokemon will also take place. On the first floor parade course, "Summer Festa with Pokemon" will be held twice daily on weekends and holidays (at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.). Eight Hula Dance Pikachu will appear and perform lively dances with a cool vacation concept. At Barcelona Square on the second floor, "Smile with Pikachu" photo time will be held three times a day on weekdays (at 12:30 p.m., 3:10 p.m., and 6:00 p.m.) and twice a day on weekends and holidays (at 12:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.), offering opportunities to take photos with Pikachu.
During the summer festival, Magic Island will be transformed into an exotic resort destination. At Lake Garden near the Moon Boat boarding area, visitors can see Pokemon enjoying their summer vacation, such as Snorlax sunbathing on a tube and Pikachu dancing. Various sculptures reminiscent of a tropical island, including palm trees, will also be installed. Throughout Magic Castle, guests can encounter Ditto who have traveled to the tropical island.
Samba-themed attractions to beat the summer heat will also be featured. At the Meeting Plaza on the first floor of Adventure, visitors can take photos in an exotic atmosphere with "Big Loti" and friends dressed in vibrant samba costumes. The photo zone across from it will be decorated as a colorful tropical rainforest.
The Samba Parade will be held twice daily (at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.) on the first floor parade course of Adventure. In addition, the "Hot! Summer! Vacation" parade will take place every day at 5:00 p.m. along the parade course.
Starting July 5, "Samba Together," a dance performance featuring various genres such as samba, lambada, and salsa, will be held daily at 6:30 p.m. on the Garden Stage. At the Meeting Plaza, the "Samba Staff School" will be held on weekdays at 3:30 p.m., where visitors can learn samba directly from the performers.
