Kim emphasized, "The Republic of Korea stands at a crossroads between crisis and leap forward. At this crucial moment, I must win, and to win, everyone must join forces. I will make every effort to ensure that we can unite as one to protect Korea's democracy and overcome the national crisis during the remaining period."

However, when asked whether his remark about 'making every effort' was specifically referring to unification with Lee Junseok, he did not comment. He also added that he had no plans to meet separately with Lee Junseok that day.
