Actor Choi Jungwoo, known for his dignified roles in dramas such as "Master's Sun" and "Lady Okssi," has passed away. He was 68 years old.
According to his agency, Bless ENT, on May 27, Choi Jungwoo died early that morning. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Choi Jungwoo made his debut in 1975 with the play "The Life of an Actor." He worked across both dramas and films, mainly taking on weighty managerial roles such as chief secretary and senior police officer.
He appeared in dramas including "Master's Sun," "Brilliant Legacy," "My Daughter Seo Young," and "Lady Okssi," as well as in films such as "Two Cops 2," "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance," "The Chaser," and "Tyrant."
The funeral hall has been set up at Gimpo Woori Hospital Funeral Hall. The funeral procession will take place at 10 a.m. on May 29.
