Point Mobile has secured a new client in the form of the world’s 13th-largest multinational retail group.
On May 27, Point Mobile announced that it will supply a total of 5,500 units of its advanced 5G mobile computer, the 'PM95', to Auchan Polska Sp. z o.o. (hereafter Auchan Polska) in Poland, in a deal valued at 2.5 billion KRW.
This supply will be carried out through Toshiba in Japan, with Auchan Polska as the end user. Auchan Polska is the Polish subsidiary of France’s Auchan Group and operates approximately 300 stores throughout Poland. Recently, to strengthen its omnichannel capabilities, Auchan Polska introduced the AI-based supply chain optimization platform 'RELEX Solution', and is working to improve demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics efficiency.
The PM95 is a 5G-based product suitable for digital transformation in industrial settings, and will be used for inventory management and back-office operations across Auchan Polska stores. Key advantages include: high-speed data transmission for transferring large files such as high-resolution videos and AR content; advanced data processing performance powered by the latest Qualcomm 5G 2.4Hz Octa-core processor and Android 13 OS; memory and storage options of 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB; and a large 7,020mAh battery.
The company explained that it was able to supply the 'PM95' by quickly developing and responding to Auchan Polska’s core requirement for an HDMI cradle, thereby securing trust. Supporting external device connections via HDMI and USB allows the PM95 to be used like a PC, improving convenience for customer operations.
A company representative stated, "Since fast delivery is central to strengthening omnichannel capabilities, Auchan Polska has a strong demand for increased efficiency in its logistics and management infrastructure." The representative added, "In this context, Point Mobile went beyond simple sales by directly conveying the manufacturer’s commitment. By meeting the client’s critical needs with product competitiveness and rapid technical support, we earned their trust." He further noted, "Starting with this, we will accelerate both the acquisition of new clients and the expansion into global markets."
Meanwhile, France’s Auchan Group is recognized as the world’s 13th-largest retail group, operating approximately 2,900 stores across 12 countries worldwide.
