Pyeongtaek City to Hold 'Youth Day' Events at Major Parks and Gymnasiums on May 31

Buraksan Fountain Park, Sosabeol Sports Park, Youth Culture Center, and More

Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on May 27 that it will host a variety of youth events at major parks in the city on May 31 to celebrate the 3rd Pyeongtaek City Youth Day.

On this day, the city will hold a "Youth Healing Concert" and the "Northern Youth Harmony Square" at Buraksan Fountain Park. The "Northern Youth Harmony Square" will feature science experience booths, as well as performances by waacking and hip-hop dance teams and a choir. The "Youth Healing Concert" will include performances by singers Kyungseo and We;Na.

In the parking lot area of Sosabeol Sports Park, the youth joint festival "Pyeongpyeong Youth Festival" will take place, while the "9th Pyeongtaek City Youth Basketball Tournament" will be held at the gymnasium of the Youth Culture Center.

Pyeongtaek City Youth Day is a commemorative day established by the city in 2023 through the enactment of the "Pyeongtaek City Youth Day Ordinance." It is celebrated on the last Saturday of May each year to foster a social atmosphere of respect for youth and to create a youth-friendly city.
