Jangseonggun Recruiting Participants for Second Half Local Community Job Project

Jangseonggun, Jeonnam announced on May 27 that it will be recruiting participants for the second half of the year for the 'Local Community Job Project' until June 2. This project is a system designed to help vulnerable job seekers secure a livelihood by providing public jobs linked to local issues.

Eligible applicants are unemployed individuals aged 18 or older who are registered residents of Jangseonggun, and members of households with an income at or below 70% of the standard median income and assets less than 400 million KRW. Applications can be submitted at the local administrative welfare center of the applicant's residence.


The recruitment fields include management of Jangseong Neighborhood Park, maintenance of the memorial park, library management support, creation of public sports facility tourist attractions, and management of the Hwangryong Riverside flower complex, among others. The number of participants to be selected in the second half of the year is 54, the same as in the first half.


The project period is four months, from July to October, with a work schedule of 20 hours per week (4 hours per day). The hourly wage is 10,030 KRW, and additional allowances such as snack expenses, weekly holiday allowance, and annual leave allowance will be provided separately.
