Recruiting 20 Young Participants Aged 19 to 39 Until June 11
Lectures by Current Professionals from eSports Teams and Broadcasting Companies

Yeongdeungpo District (District Mayor Choi Hokwon) announced the launch of the 'Yeongdeungpo eSports Academy,' a new program for young people interested in the rapidly growing and promising eSports industry. The district will be recruiting 20 participants for the academy until June 11.
This academy was planned to support young people in exploring career paths and entering related fields by providing practical, hands-on education in line with the rapid growth of the eSports industry.
The lectures will be held free of charge every Saturday from June 21 to August 9, for a total of eight sessions. The curriculum will focus on key roles within the eSports industry, including: ▲Understanding the eSports ecosystem and job roles ▲League planning and team management strategies ▲Match operations and referee training ▲The role of player agencies. In addition, experts from well-known eSports teams such as Gen.G Esports and WDG, as well as related broadcasting professionals, will serve as instructors to share their real-world experience and expertise.
In particular, the program will include immersive, hands-on experiences such as tours of eSports broadcasting studios, as well as tailored employment support through individual mentoring and portfolio coaching.
The academy will be conducted both online and offline, and any young person aged 19 to 39 who lives or works in Yeongdeungpo District is eligible to apply.
