As of 10:02 a.m. on this day, Stick Investment is trading at 10,380 won, up 440 won (4.43%) from the previous trading day.
According to the investment banking (IB) industry, 479 individual investors of Stick Investment have gathered a 4.52% stake (1,885,542 shares) through the minority shareholder platform ACT.
These investors have notified both Stick Investment and Miri Capital and Align Partners of the launch of the individual shareholder coalition, presenting the cancellation of treasury shares and normalization of the stock price as their core objectives. They argue that the stock is severely undervalued, considering the company's investment scale and performance.
Currently, the combined stake of Miri Capital (12%), Align Partners Asset Management (6.64%), and the individual shareholder coalition (4.52%) amounts to 23.16%. This far exceeds the combined 19% stake held by Stick Investment Chairman Do Yonghwan (13.46%) and related parties.
Although both Align Partners and Miri Capital are reportedly not planning to launch an aggressive activist campaign against Stick Investment for now, the situation is likely to put significant pressure on Stick Investment.
