NH Nonghyup Bank to Operate "Cool Shelters" at Branches Nationwide

NH Nonghyup Bank announced on May 27 that it will operate "Cool Shelters" at its branches nationwide until September 30.

From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the bank will provide waiting areas and other spaces within its branches as places where people can escape the heat. These shelters are open to everyone, regardless of whether they are customers of the bank.

NH Nonghyup Bank stated that a total of 1,037 branches nationwide (excluding corporate specialist branches and large corporate finance centers) will participate in the operation of the "Cool Shelters," offering the most extensive branch network among banks for greater convenience.

A representative from NH Nonghyup Bank said, "We have established these 'Cool Shelters' to offer some relief to people suffering from the heat wave," and added, "We hope that anyone can feel free to visit a nearby NH Nonghyup Bank branch this summer to enjoy a comfortable rest when the heat is at its peak."
