Cooperation for Fostering Digital Finance Talent
Seoul National University of Science and Technology announced on May 27 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Fintech Support Center to promote joint research and foster talent.

The agreement was signed at 11 a.m. on May 22 at SeoulTech, with attendees including Kim Wooje, Dean of the College of Technology Management Convergence at SeoulTech, Professors Kim Jahi and Cheon Changmin, Kim Gun, Chairman of the Korea Fintech Support Center, Manager Song Seonggyun, Manager Han Hyuntak, and Chief Kim Guimin, among other officials.
Through this agreement, the two institutions will collaborate in various areas, including the activation of industry-academia cooperation and joint research in the fintech sector, as well as the establishment of a cooperative system to nurture innovative talent.
Chairman Kim Gun stated, "I am pleased that this agreement provides an opportunity to establish industry-academia cooperation in the fintech field with SeoulTech," and added, "I hope that exchanges of both human and material resources between the two institutions will be actively promoted for mutual development."
Dean Kim Wooje said, "By leveraging the strengths of both institutions, we will cultivate talent to lead the fintech sector."
Meanwhile, the agreement includes cooperation for job matching and employment linkage in the fintech sector, as well as collaboration for graduate programs such as MBA courses.
