Scholarships Worth 137 Million Won Awarded to 213 Students
in Celebration of 55th Anniversary
BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on May 26 that it has provided scholarships to outstanding students in the Gyeongnam and Ulsan regions in celebration of its 55th anniversary.
This year, BNK Kyongnam Bank has allocated a total of 137 million won in scholarships, which will be distributed to 213 outstanding students in the Gyeongnam and Ulsan regions.
On May 22, BNK Kyongnam Bank invited 10 outstanding students from the region, along with their parents and teachers, to the '55th Anniversary Ceremony' and held a scholarship award event.
Choi Daesik, Head of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, stated, "Providing scholarships is a meaningful contribution that brightens the future of our region. BNK Kyongnam Bank plans to continue supporting scholarships for nurturing local talent. We will make even greater efforts to become a reliable partner in designing and building the future of our community together."
Since launching its scholarship program in 1971, the year after its founding, BNK Kyongnam Bank has provided scholarships totaling approximately 4.05 billion won to 6,774 local students as of this year.
