The 'Innovative Future School,' designated and operated by the Chungnam Office of Education as a model for future-oriented schools, is setting an example for educational innovation.

The operation of Innovative Future Schools by the Chungnam Office of Education is an effort aligned with the current trend of overcoming population decline and the risk of regional extinction through education. Currently, ten schools within Chungnam Province have been selected and are being operated as such.

The goal of the 'Innovative Future School' is to cultivate global citizens who will lead future society, through bold experimentation and challenges in the areas of curriculum, space, ecology, digital, and educational cooperation, which are the key transformation agendas of Chungnam Future Education 2030.

This year, the Chungnam Office of Education is running the 'Innovative Future School Empathy Week' for schools in their second and fourth year of designation as Innovative Future Schools.

During the Empathy Week, which was held for five days until the 23rd at Hongdong Middle School in Hongseong County, now in its second year as an Innovative Future School, about 160 educators from across the province participated through prior registration, observing a variety of activities and sharing in the growth experience.

Yoon Pyojoong, Director of Policy Planning at the Chungnam Office of Education, stated, "All innovative and future education begins with sharing lessons," and added, "Through the upcoming Empathy Weeks at Hansan Elementary School in Seocheon in September and Songnam Elementary School in Asan in November, we plan to continue fostering a culture of educational sharing and cooperation."
