Dabolink Announces Quantum Leap Plan as Eco-friendly Energy and ICT Convergence Company

Accelerating the Transition to a Global Energy Innovation Company with CEO Kim Kwanghyun

Dabolink Announces Quantum Leap Plan as Eco-friendly Energy and ICT Convergence Company

Dabolink Co., Ltd., which is preparing for a new industrial paradigm through the convergence of eco-friendly energy and information and communication technology (ICT), has officially declared its leap forward as a "global energy specialist focused on essential technologies" following the appointment of CEO Kim Kwanghyun.

Kim Kwanghyun was newly appointed as CEO of Dabolink this month. Upon his appointment, he announced that he would leverage the ICT-based technologies he has accumulated over many years to develop economically viable business models for eco-friendly energy supply. He also stated that the company would build core competencies in the areas of ▲sustainable energy solutions, ▲smart energy management systems, and ▲internalization of eco-friendly technologies. Based on these strengths, Dabolink aims to reinforce its technological leadership not only in Korea but also in global markets.

The company’s initial plan is to pursue a transformation into an independent energy solution provider based on technology internalization. Dabolink intends to drive structural changes that enable practical and immediate execution under the slogan "Implementation of Empathetic Technology," by strengthening both external collaborations and internal organizational capabilities. The company is expanding its domain from traditional information and communication equipment technologies to energy transition technologies. Its goal is to develop and advance key technologies such as ESS facilities that break away from conventional approaches, IoT-based energy monitoring, MLOps (Machine Learning Operation), and data, and to establish these as its proprietary technologies.

Through these efforts, Dabolink plans to provide smart energy ecosystems to customers both domestically and internationally, and is devising a phased strategy to secure scalability in Korea and overseas markets.

In addition, the company is working to establish a "localized solution development system" targeting the global market. Dabolink is reportedly preparing a localization-focused solution design system tailored to the energy demand structures and regulatory environments of each country. The company is analyzing and strategizing optimal technologies and infrastructure for carbon neutrality, including the production, storage, and distribution of energy using renewable and recycled resources in North America, Europe, and Asia. To this end, Dabolink is strengthening organic connections between its headquarters in Korea and its proven global partnership network, and plans to expand market-specific businesses, products, and service lines in stages both domestically and internationally.

The company is also accelerating organizational transformation and talent internalization. Dabolink is prioritizing a shift to a technology-centric organization, reinforcing its existing structure to reflect the increasingly complex domestic and international landscape. For new business areas utilizing renewable and recycled resources, the company is actively recruiting talent for key positions to significantly increase the proportion of necessary personnel. Internally, Dabolink plans to establish an agile organizational operation system for the smooth execution of both existing and new businesses through ▲assetization of technological know-how, ▲advanced training by job function, and ▲building a company-wide collaboration base. The company believes that such a system and organization will form the core foundation for "creating a structure where innovation originates from within the company."

Furthermore, Dabolink is placing as much emphasis on ESG management?an area of non-financial corporate value?as on technological competitiveness, and is working to internalize ESG management to expand its global partnerships. In the energy and environmental sectors, the company is striving to become a proactive enterprise that can address potential issues in the near-future society by adopting eco-friendly materials, components, and resources throughout its supply chain and maximizing the use of human and technological networks.

In particular, the company is promoting ▲an increase in the proportion of outside directors, ▲participation in the ESG economy, and ▲the publication of a sustainability management report to strengthen communication with external systems and ensure transparent governance. Dabolink is also making every effort to enhance its credibility for the conclusion of global partnerships. The company aims to earn the trust of customers worldwide as a partner equipped with both technological prowess and a sense of responsibility.

Kim Kwanghyun stated, "Dabolink is pursuing new growth focused on management that enables fundamental technological competitiveness, rather than mere external expansion. This is not simply about expanding our business, but about evolving into a company that can design and operate a sustainable human and technological ecosystem, differentiating us from conventional business approaches," adding, "We will rapidly transition to the next chapter for Dabolink as a 'circular energy and environment-based global innovation company.'"
